Human Scale — Current

Seventeen chapters. Seventeen evidence audits. Practical tools, a public Lab, contribution infrastructure, San Diego pilots, and a launch designed to invite criticism before allegiance.

State the claim → grade the evidence → test the mechanism → publish the result → revise the doctrine.

Implementation, not only writing

San Diego receipts

Third places, shade/walking, bureaucracy, and public learning sessions.

Outside criticism

Evidence challenges and counterexamples should create visible doctrine diffs.

Outside experiments

Maturity begins when someone else runs the Lab without asking permission.

Audit calibration

Find bad questions, bias, false precision, and missing dimensions.

First local goal: produce one San Diego Human Scale receipt that would remain useful if the philosophy vanished tomorrow.

Advertising without manipulation

Growth should come from tools, maps, evidence corrections, public experiments, failed experiments, receipts, and questions worth answering.

Every advertisement should leave the audience with something useful even if they never become a Human Scale supporter.

No fake grassroots support. No repeated unwanted outreach. No sensitive-vulnerability targeting. No deceptive scarcity. No empirical claims made more certain for marketing.

The new frontier

Cross-cutting evidence

Disability/accessibility, aging/end-of-life, transportation, administrative burden, ownership/automation, disaster resilience, AI companionship, Audit calibration.

External reality

Public criticism, outside experiments, negative results, and doctrine changes caused by people outside the project.

San Diego

First public implementation receipt that stands on its own.

Growth

Measure useful downstream action before paid amplification.

What maturity would look like

The project is not mature when it has enough pages.

It becomes mature when people other than its author can understand it, challenge it, test it, improve it, and use it without asking permission.
